El Parque de Maria Luisa- Park Maria Luisa
It is a paradisiac place replete with orange trees, elms and pines of the Mediterranean, cutlery of narrow flowerbeds, reservoirs and pavilions(flags). Now that the trees and shrubs have grown it(he,she) appreciates the spectacular beauty of the landscape, turning into one of the nicest parks of Europe.
Aníbal Gonzalez, his(her,your) creator, designed it as the Plaza of Spain with a mixture(mixing) of Art Deco of 1920 and imitating the Mudejar style. We find around it different many buildings specially constructed for the Exhibition of 29, created a few months before the bag(stock exchange) of Wall Street was sinking, of which is outlined his(her,your) grandeur (good example of it we find it in the pavilion(flag) of Guatemala, near the Walk of the Palm).
Towards the end of the park we meet diverse museums (former pavilions(flags) adapted as such). In the Archaeological, most distant Museum, stand out the exhibitions of the mosaics and Roman objects brought specially from Italic.
